Account recovery procedure
Use this when you already have a Hytale account, but can't access it because you forgot your login information. To recover your account, follow these steps.
Please note, if you lose access to your email or cannot remember your email your account cannot be recovered using this method and we recommend reaching out to our support team for additional assistance - https://support.hytale.com/
Please visit https://hytale.com/ and click on "Login" located in the upper right corner of your screen.
Then you'll see a screen with all the login options. No matter which option you used to log in to your Hytale account, if you forgot your password, click on "Forgot password" right below the login options.
The login option you previously used for your Hytale account will be highlighted with "Last Used". We recommend trying this method first before proceeding further with the account recovery process. If this option does not work for you, please follow the next steps outlined in this article.
To recover your Hytale account, you need to provide the email address you registered with. Please note that if you don’t remember your email, you won’t be able to recover your account!
Once you enter your email address and click the “Send recovery code” button, check your inbox for a 6-digit recovery code. If you don’t see it there, please check your spam or junk mail folder. Keep in mind that this code will expire exactly 15 minutes after it is sent. The email message should appear similar to this:
When you have your code, enter the 6-digit recovery code in the box to recover your account. If you didn’t receive the email, you can resend the recovery code email right from this screen.
Your Hytale account has been recovered, and you are now redirected to your account details page, where you can set a new password.
When setting a new password, please ensure that you choose a strong password and follow our safety tips at How to keep your Hytale account secure.
Once done, you should be redirected to your account's details and information.
You now have recovered your account!
