Want to share Hytale with a friend? You can purchase any Early Access edition as a gift. Instead of a game profile on your own account, you receive a gift code that your friend redeems on their own Hytale account to create their game profile.
Gifts are purchased through our official store. Several editions are available, each offering extra cosmetic items. To explore all available editions, please visit: https://store.hytale.com.
Players in locations offering regional pricing: All gift purchases are not subject to regional pricing and will be processed at the global price.
How to Purchase a Gift Code
Visit our store at https://store.hytale.com or navigate to "Store". Under Available Editions, find the edition you'd like to gift and click GIFT (next to the PURCHASE button) rather than purchasing it for yourself.
A Gift Purchase Notice will appear. We strongly encourage you to read it carefully. Confirm that the gift code will be sent to the correct account (use "Switch here" if it shows the wrong account), then click I UNDERSTAND.
If you aren't signed in yet, you will need to log in to your Hytale account or create one if you haven't yet registered. For guidance on creating an account, please refer to this article: How to create an account.
You can now choose your payment method, enter your payment details, and click on Pay.
Once your payment is completed, your gift is finalized and your gift code is generated.
You should now see the Gift Purchase Complete confirmation, and you should have received the gift code in your email. Copy the gift code and the redeem link and share them with your friend so they can redeem the gift on their account. Please keep the email confirmation with your transaction ID in case you need to reference them in the future.
Please note: Gifts are non-refundable as outlined in our refund policy. Make sure to only share the gift code with the intended recipient, and hold onto your transaction ID in case you need to reach out to support about your purchase.
Redeeming a gift code
The following steps are for the player receiving the gift. A Hytale account is required to redeem a gift code; if you don't have one yet, see How to create an account.
Go to https://accounts.hytale.com and select Redeem a gift code. Enter the 16-character gift code (formatted as ABCD-1234-EF56-7890), then click Check Gift.
The edition the gift code is valid for will be shown. Click Redeem Gift Code to confirm.
A new game profile is created and associated with your account. This may take a few moments.
You can now check your current edition on your profile, and you can manage your profiles in your account details.
